MS Tigers advance to finals
The Bluffton 7th- and 8th-grade boy’s basketball teams will be playing for Allen County Athletic Conference middle school tournament championships Saturday at the Southern Wells Raiderdome. Both teams will be facing the Leo Lions.
On Wednesday night, the 8th-grade Tigers advanced by defeating Adams Central 43-37. Meanwhile, the 7th-grade Tigers eliminated Southern Wells 39-35.
Mike Pearson led the 8th-grade Tigers with 20 points. Josh Streveler added nine points, Jake Garrett eight, Austin Brigner four and Malcolm Marshall two.
Kevin Moser scored 12 points to lead the 7th-grade Tigers over the Raiders. Kohl Buskirk added nine points, Javon Morgan eight, Noah Antrim six and Ethan Kitt four.

Zach Green leads Raider JV matmen
Zach Green pinned two of his opponents and finished with three victories in the 130-pound division Wednesday night to lead the Southern Wells Raiders’ wrestlers at the Northfield Invitational at Speicherville.
Cory Haviland also had two pins to finish 2-1 at 119 pounds. Jacob Alford was 1-2 with a pin at 130 and Michael McLain was 1-2 with a pin at 135. Sam Wagner was 1-1 at 171 pounds.
