Indiana DNR Release:
Enjoy an evening on the moon-focusing on the moon, that is. From 4 - 8 p.m., learn fun facts about the Earth’s only natural satellite from members of the Fort Wayne Astronomical Society during an indoor presentation, and eat a “moon” meal in the warmth of the heated building.
Then, head outside to view the night sky through telescopes belonging to society members while listening to stories around a bonfire. Finally, take part in a property-wide scavenger hunt from the comfort of your car.
There is a $5 program fee per participant. Registration is required by calling Upper Wabash Interpretive Services at (260) 468-2127.
There is no gate fee at this time.
