Knights defeat the Lions

During halftime of the Norwell girls' varsity basketball game with Leo Wednesday night, two teams from the Norwell Little Lady Squires League played for a few minutes. The girls wearing light blue shirts are the UConn team and the ones in dark blue are on the Stanford team. This is an instructional league focused on developing basketball interest in elementary age girls and help build the high school program.




Shot during the second half of the varsity game between the Leo Lions (9-3) and Class 3A no. 2 ranked Norwell Knights. In the action, the Knights work the ball around for a basket by senior guard Jenelle Wilson. The Knights (12-0) defeated Leo 61-41.
