Bluffton MS boys
split with Eastbrook
The Bluffton Middle School boys’ basketball teams split with Eastbrook Thursday night. The 7th-grade Tigers won 48-8 and the 8th-grade Tigers lost 47-37.
Garrett Walborn scored 7 points for the 7th-grade Tigers. Trae Jojola had 6, Grant Prible 8, Trey Collins 7, Kenny Patterson 2, Collin Barker 2, Aaron Sturgeon 10, Dakota Flowers 2, and Jacob Ehle 4.
Kohl Buskirk netted 14 points and Kevin Moser 11 for the 8th-grade Tigers. Javon Morgan added 3. Ethan Kitt, Jacob Wenger, Josh Moriarity and Jay Brickley each had 2 and Collin Mechling 1.

lose to Eastbrook
The Bluffton Middle School girls’ basketball teams were defeated Thursday by Eastbrook. The 7th-grade Tigers were nipped 16-14 and the 8th-grade Tigers lost 43-18.
Shannon Penrod and Cheyenne Penrod each had 4 points for the 7th-grade Tigers. Whitney Green, Caroline Mettler and Sydney Longenberger each had 2 points.
Erin McKinley scored 11 points for the 8th-grade Tigers. Emma Thompson added 5, Lauren Brinneman 2 and Kaitlyn Schriver 1.

Register for Norwell
Little Squires
Any Northern Wells Community Schools boy or girl in grades K-2 may still register for the Norwell Little Squires Basketball League by Wednesday, Nov. 24. Registration forms have been distributed to all schools. The league begins Dec. 2. and meets in the Norwell High School auxiliary gym from 6-7:15 p.m. Cost is $25 for the five-week league. Players will work on skills for 30 minutes and play a 32-minute game on 8-foot goals with no score being kept. Teams will be coached by Norwell varsity basketball players.
