SW needs cheerleading sponsors
Southern Wells has openings for cheerleading sponsors for the upcoming school year. Varsity, junior varsity and junior high positions are open. Applications are being accepted and information forms are available by contacting Southern Wells Activities Director Kevin Lavanchy.
Badminton League starting up again
The Bluffton Parks & Recreation Department is offering its Badminton League again at the Bluffton City Gym on Thursdays from 7-9 p.m. It is open to high school students and older. Cost is $5. All equipment is supplied. For more information call 824-6069 or e-mail at parks@ci.bluffton.in.us
Walk to support Cancer Services
Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana’s Lapper 2010 fundraiser walk is Saturday, June 5, at Foster Park Pavilion 2 in Fort Wayne. Check-in is at 8 a.m. and the event starts at 8:30 a.m. Teams and individuals are encouraged. Receive a T-shirt for a minimum of $25.
