SW needs cheerleading sponsors
Southern Wells has openings for cheerleading sponsors for the upcoming school year. Varsity, junior varsity and junior high positions are open. Applications are being accepted and information forms are available by contacting Southern Wells Activities Director Kevin Lavanchy.

Badminton League starting up again
The Bluffton Parks & Recreation Department is offering its Badminton League again at the Bluffton City Gym on Thursdays from 7-9 p.m. It is open to high school students and older. Cost is $5. All equipment is supplied. For more information call 824-6069 or e-mail at parks@ci.bluffton.in.us

Racing resumes at Anderson
ANDERSON — The second event of Anderson Speedway’s new season will feature many of the track’s featured divisions Saturday night.
The Figure 8s, Street Stocks and Front Wheel Drive Figure 8s will be in action along with the new Pure Stocks.
Spectator gates open at 4 p.m., with the racing beginning at 7. Admission is $10 for adults and $4 for kids ages 6-12. Children five and under get in free.
