Girls’ sectional tickets on sale
All-session tickets for the Class 3A girls’ basketball sectional at Wayne High School in Fort Wayne will be on sale in the Norwell athletic office Friday, Monday and Tuesday from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Ticket price is $9.

Crusaders wrestlers down Raiders
The Norwell Crusaders’ wrestling team started off the season with a 28-22 win over the host Southern Wells Raiders Thursday night. Norwell started strong winning five of the first seven matches before the Raiders made it interesting by winning the final three.

Norwell 7th-grade girls finish second
The Norwell 7th-grade girls’ basketball team finished second in the Northeast Hoosier Middle Level Conference tournament Monday night. The Crusaders ended their season with a 50-39 loss to Woodside.
Hanna Smith led the Crusaders with 18 points and also had four steals and three rebounds. Liara Isnogle added 11 points and three steals. Erika Thornton chipped in four points and two steals. Monica Frauhiger added four points and two rebounds. Sarah Bauermeister completed the scoring with two points.
