Leo blanks Raiders
Andrew Suciu hit two home runs to help power the Leo Lions to a 14-0 victory over Southern Wells in an Allen County Athletic Conference baseball make-up game Friday at Southern Wells.
The Raiders dropped to 0-4 in ACAC action and 4-11-1 overall.
Drew Penrod was the losing pitcher. Penrod gave up nine hits over three innings. Kevin Feemster pitched the final two innings of the contest for Southern Wells.

Grover leads local runners at Indy
Approximately 150 Wells County residents participated in the 35th Indy Mini-marathon Saturday.
Former Bluffton High School standout Bret Grover finished in 31st place. Grover has spent several years away from the competitive aspect of the sport and only recently returned to training.
Other local participants who finished in the top 10 percent of their age class include: Scott Steiner, Nick Girod, Chuck Brown, Karly Prichard, Evan Kitt, Gina Ryan, Angie Lockwood, Diana Fox, Danette Von Gunten, Kelly Devore, Pamela Johnson, Stacy Desjean and Delores Johns.
They were part of the largest half-marathon in the United States with 35,000 registered to run or walk.

SW sports physicals May 12
Examinations for Southern Wells sports physicals will be available Wednesday, May 12, in the Raiderdome from 4:30-7 p.m.
Dr. John Wilson and Dr. Tammy Dunmoyer will be performing the physicals, which are open to all current and future Southern Wells students grades 5-11. Cost is $15 each or $40 for a family.
