The first of three qualifying events will take place this Sunday, May 9 to determine Fort Wayne’s Hometown Hitter. The Fort Wayne Hometown Hitter competition pits one baseball player from each Fort Wayne high school against each other in a Home Run Derby. The winning high school player will join the Midwest League All-Stars on June 21 and compete in the 2010 Midwest League Home Run Derby....
