Indiana DNR Release:
A combination bird-watching/kayak event will be held at J. Edward Roush Lake on the morning of June 12.
Participants will meet at 7:30 a.m. at the main office on Indiana 5, from where the party will drive to the launching destination. Limited boats will be available for rent for a $5 fee. Those who want to use that option should reserve one soon. For those bringing their own kayak, the program is free of charge. Advance registration is required for either option.
Participants should bring binoculars, bird books and any desired drinks or snacks.
