Fish and tenderloin fry at Norwell
The Norwell Baseball Club is sponsoring an all-you-can-eat fish and tenderloin fry Friday, Jan. 14, from 4:30-7:30 p.m. in the Norwell High School cafeteria before the Bellmont vs. Norwell basketball game.
Tickets before the fry are $8 for adults ages 13 and up, $5 for children 6-12, and free for children under 5. At the door, tickets are $9 for adults and $5.50 for children. Tickets may be purchased from Norwell baseball players or at Norwell home basketball games. Proceeds will benefit the Norwell Baseball Club.

Bluffton girls lose two against Leo
Bluffton Middle School girls’ basketball teams suffered losses Monday against Allen County Athletic Conference foe Leo. The 7th-grade Tigers fell 31-10, while the 8th-grade Tigers were doubled up 32-16.
Whitney Green scored 4 points for the 7th-grade Tigers, while Ashley Smith, Shannon Penrod and Branda Bywater each finished with 2 points.
Lauren Brinneman tallied 6 points and Erin McKinley 4 to lead the 8th-grade Tigers. Kaitlyn Schriver, Lauren Stauffer and Emma Thompson rounded out the scoring with 2 points each.
