Norwell golfers 5th in final poll
The Norwell Knights are ranked fifth in the final Indiana high school golf coaches association boys’ poll released Thursday:

1. Hamilton Southeastern; 2. Avon; 3. Carmel; 4. Brebeuf; 5. Norwell; 6. Evansville North; 7. Floyd Central; 8. Warsaw; 9. Evansville Memorial; 10. Valparasio; 11. Shawe Memorial; 12. Warren Central; 13. Bloomington North; 14. Center Grove; 15. Noblesville; 16. Zionsville; 17. Bellmont; 18. Terre Haute South; 19. Bedford North Lawrence; 20. Lafayette Harrison.
Honorable Mention: Homestead, Providence, Yorktown, Peru, South Bend St. Joe, Penn.

Youth soccer camp scheduled
The Norwell boys’ soccer team will be holding a youth soccer camp for Wells County area girls and boys on the Norwell soccer fields.
Grades 1-4 (2010-2011 school year) will meet July 6-8 from 5-6:30 p.m., while grades 5-7 will meet July 13-15 from 5-6:30.
Cost is $25, which includes a camp T-shirt. For registration forms, e-mail at norwellknightssoccer@gmail.com. Forms are available also at all Wells County Public Library locations. Register for BHS girls’ hoops camp
The Bluffton Lady Tiger Basketball Camp for students in grades 5-8 (2009-10) is June 14-18 in the Tiger Den. Grades 5-6 will meet from noon-1:30 p.m. and grades 7-8 will meet from 1:30-3 p.m. Cost is $20 (make checks payable to Bluffton High School). Registration and fee are due Wednesday, June 9. T-Ball scores reported
The following Bluffton T-Ball League baseball scores were reported: Outdoor Concepts 21, DeHoff Insulation 18; Minnich’s 8, LGI 7; Hot Cakes 16, Dairy Queen 15.
Ossian State Bank nets victory
Ossian State Bank defeated Ossian Dental 10-2 Wednesday in a Wells County Junior League 12U baseball game at Uniondale. Kyle Stroud pitched a strong game to notch the win for Ossian State Bank.
