NHS Golfer Clouser medals in Huntington

Norwell junior McCormick Clouser talks with News-Banner Sports Editor Paul Beitler about his two-hole playoff against Huntington North's E.J. Tackett for the top medalist in the IHSAA boys' golf sectional Friday at LaFountaine Golf Club near Huntington.

Clouser and Tackett tied after 18-holes with a one-under-par 71.

Clouser and Tackett played the first playoff hole to a tie and Clouser beat him on the second playoff hole.

Both will be going to the IHSAA regional at Yorktown next week. Huntington North and Bellmont placed second and third behin sectional champion Norwell.
