Seaplane Splash In, Pokagon State Park, Sept. 20

Indiana DNR Release:

Pokagon State Park and the Potawatomi Inn will host the Indiana Seaplane Pilots Association Seventh Annual Seaplane Splash In, Sunday, Sept. 20.

Pilots from around the Midwest will be flying in seaplanes, landing on Lake James, and rolling up onto the Potawatomi Inn front lawn. From 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., park visitors may view planes, visit with pilots, and sign up for free-ride drawings. To participate as a pilot and for more information, visit www.seaplanepilots.org/inspa.

All activities take place on the beach and lawn area at the Potawatomi Inn. The event is free; however, the standard daily weekend park entrance fee per vehicle ($5 in-state, $7 out-of-state) will be charged.
