Ouabache State Park kicks off the summer with a “Wetland Wanderings” day camp from June 14-16. Campers will study wetland plants and animals with hands-on activities. Activities include arts and crafts, a canoeing session, and daily hikes.
The camp will run from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. each day and are geared for kids ages 7-11. All of the camps will be led by experienced interpretive naturalists.
Each camp is $45 per child with a discount for additional siblings. Registration and a completed health/media release forms are required for each camp.
Advance registration is required and space is limited. A snack will be provided, but children should bring a sack lunch with drink each day.
