Pick up SW Jr. High football equipment
Southern Wells Jr. High School football equipment will be issued to 7th-graders on Tuesday, Aug. 11, from 6-7:30. The first practice for grades 7 and 8 will be Wednesday, Aug. 12, from 6-8 p.m. All players must have physicals turned in to the coach or office in order to practice. Physical forms are available in the high school office. Cost for football kit materials will be $25, which may be paid the day of equipment issue.

Bluffton MS volleyball to start
Bluffton Middle School volleyball practices will begin on Aug. 11 from 3:30-5 p.m.

Sign up for Elks golf tournament
Teams and individuals may register for the Bluffton Elks Lodge 796 Scholarship Golf Tourney, slated for Sept. 20 at Timber Ridge Golf Club.
The four-person Florida Scramble begins with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start. Cost is $45 for Timber Ridge members and $65 for non-members. Teams should sign up at the Elks Lodge.

Colts to host four prep games
INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — The Indianapolis Colts will sponsor four high school football games at Lucas Oil Stadium in September.
The inaugural Horseshoe Classic will be held Sept. 5.
Zionsville faces Noblesville in the opening game at 11 a.m. That will be followed by Indianapolis Cathedral against Cincinnati St. Xavier, Columbus North and Bloomington North and Indianapolis Pike against Southport.
The Peyback Classic is also held at Lucas Oil Stadium. Those games are sponsored by Peyton Manning’s charitable foundation.
